Secure Registration Protocol

Creating an identity on TorZon requires adherence to strict OpSec rules. Follow this guide to ensure your account remains anonymous and unhackable.

Step-by-Step Account Creation

1

Username Selection

Do not use a username you have used on Clearweb sites (Reddit, Twitter, etc.) or other darknet markets. If one identity is compromised, they all are. Use a random generator or two unrelated words (e.g., NeonPanda88).

2

Password Entropy

Your password is the first line of defense. TorZon requires a minimum of 12 characters. We recommend using a sentence or a random string generated by KeePassXC.

Weak: password123
Strong: 9#xK2!mP$vL0qZ
3

The Mnemonic Phrase

Upon registration, you will be shown a 12-word mnemonic phrase. WRITE THIS DOWN ON PAPER. Do not save it in a text file on your computer. This is the only way to reset your password or recover your funds if you lose access. Support cannot restore accounts without it.

4

Withdrawal PIN

You must set a 6-digit PIN. This PIN is required every time you attempt to withdraw Monero or Bitcoin. This protects you if someone physically accesses your unlocked computer.

Setting Up 2FA (Mandatory for Vendors)

CRITICAL SECURITY: While 2FA is optional for buyers, we highly recommend it.

To enable Two-Factor Authentication, navigate to your account settings after logging in. You must upload your PGP Public Key. Once enabled, every login attempt will present a PGP-encrypted message. You must decrypt this message using your private key to reveal the verification code.

This renders phishing attacks useless, as fake sites cannot generate the correct PGP challenge.
